change plz

is it just me or did the fonts get bigger on this forum?

cheesy if u changed something plz change it back it sucks, if not then it's my pc

hmm.... no idea my font is fine, nor do i have an idea on how to fix a problem i cant see, ill take a wack at least though

ya mine is huge as hell it's almost imposible to post got to scroll all the way down to type anything then go back up to change subject or to go to another page :/

Hey all,

The problem would appear to be linked to Internet Explorer. Mozilla, Opera and other browsers do not appear to have font based problems.

Not sure exactly how this forum is setup but I would suggest an issue with CCS/Stylesheets that Firefox ignores and IE makes use of.

hmm evo's rite, I use firefox so i didnt notice... still o dont really know where to look for the solution

well i managed to ignore the styles and the text but it is still looking very weird idk why

Have been rebuilding my machine so been away for a while.

As a quick fix for IE users you can set Text Size to Smaller in the View Menu... this will make the font scale down to normal size.

Not sure who owns this forum.. (Cheesy?) but if you are using a theme or style on this forum, it might be worth trying a change to the standard theme. I would guess this is a problem with the style currently in use. So it's possible a revert to standard will fix this issue. If this does fix it (check a post using FireFox and IE to see if it's the same) I would be happy to have a look at the coding differences between them.

Works fine in all browsers now so unfortunately it looks like it's down to the theme. Let me have a dig around my box of goodies and see if I have something similar you can use.

At least for now it will look fine for everyone

Cheesey - guessing your the owner of site? Anyway, I have been looking through some options for styles and have been playing with a few. You can see the most recent at http://www.moonlit-circle.co.uk/phpBB3/

Let me know if this is something you like or if not, tell me what you want from the theme and I can put something together for you.

Also I've noticed that this is a "free" board provider but there appear to be some catches (like good adds, non full screen, etc). I be happy to host on your behalf if you prefer the tidier look without all the required stuff from 4umer..

If you have access you can still upload custom styles... So one like on that page should be doable. If you did want to have all the features then as I said, I can host the whole thing for you (obviously with you in control). The downside is that you would need to change the address people visit, other then that everything should stay the same. All the posts/members, etc can all be transfered over to another location (I can show you how).

As I said, it's just an offer/option.. otherwise send me a PM and I can help you apply new styles to make the board look better on here.
