Stereotypical anime?

It's usually stereotyped as the last refuge for the worst geeks out there. But what makes it so bad? Are there any fans out here?

The only inherent differences in anime and regular film is it's drawn rather than filmed... is that such an obstacle?

If you dislike anime or don't know that much about it, you should watch it and see what Anime has to offer.

It is, especially if you dont agree with the looks of the drawn characters. persoanlly i jsut thing they look weird.

another big factor is the music, which im not much of a fan of.
but hey, everyone has their own thing.

I think it's close minded to dismiss an art form simply because it's different or it has associations with "kiddy" programming.

The artwork in that AMV is simply beautiful. All of it drawn.

I was close minded about anime too. I never watched Pokemon or Dragonball Z, and I continued with that attitude until my eyes were opened in my junior year of high school 2 years ago.

Except im on about the other end of the scale, and i dont see such a large change in ym favorites anytime as soon as my junior year

Lol, I was on the football team and that didn't stop me. Anime addiction hits you really hard, really fast.
